Case example

A 43-year-old female patient with ovarian carcinoma had locally tense and reddened skin after irradiation. Redness and tension were reduced immediately after the compress was applied. The moist dressing reinforced the cooling effect of the wound and burn gel.
There were no side effects. After two days the redness and tension were eliminated. The patient reported that the treatment felt beneficial.
